it's over
It's done.

She's gone.

I was on the phone; three lines waiting to be exact.

I didn't speak to her, she didn't speak to me. My boss was there until she left. I think she cried because her voice was different and she kept on sniffing.

She's gone.

No more being irritated by her.

meh // work // letting the woman go
Meh. I'm starting my shift later today because we're letting the lady go today so I have to cover until 9pm so I'm starting at 12pm.

Starting at 12pm instead of 1pm because, when she'll get in at 1pm, she won't wonder why I'm starting at the same time as her since I'm always there at 9am everyday.

Anyway, I kinda don't wanna be at the front desk when my boss will ask her to come to her office or to follow her elsewhere in the office. I kinda don't wanna be there when she'll come out to pick up her stuff and leave. I don't want to be there in case she starts looking at me and ask questions on if I knew this was gonna happen and stuff. I don't wanna be there in case she turns on me angry or whatever.

Really, she's only got herself to blame for what's gonna happen to her today but she's most likely gonna ask me questions and... I just don't want to answer her. Hopefully she'll stay quiet, pick up her stuff and leave but I doubt that's the way it's gonna happen. She's a really chatty person.

Meh.

Next week, we're starting training with the other new lady. She's totally fresh out of Remax. Compared to this one who's been in Remax 7 years ago and only answered phones. The new person knows how to answer phones, how to put up files for each new listings and ask what documents are missing and she knows (we think anyway) how to search in the other program for listings all over the province for any agents in any company. The only program she doesn't know is the one for Royal lepage Champlain where we write down everything from the listings and the sales. Each company has its own program. Oh, and she doesn't know how to the the inventory of the listings in the book at the front desk that clients can go through and look for interesting properties. And the book for the pictures in the windows. That's gonna be brand new for her. Next week, we'll make her answer the phones and learn the name of the agents. Only that. If things go well, we'll make her do the listings. After that, we'll see.

Next week, my boss and I are going to "exchange" the evening shift between us. One day it's gonna be her, the next me or whatever. *sigh*

Well, I better go now if I wanna be able to go to the Bank before starting my shift...

Geez... am I the only one thinking this is sounding pretty perverted? I mean, pleasure your mate?

...

Yeah.

Anyway, I don't have a mate. Or a boyfriend. Or anything. I have my cat. Ad I don't see how I can make this work right...

YAY! *dances*
The lady that was interviewed Friday gave her answer today and she's ready to try working the 1pm-9pm shift.

This means I only have one more day and a couple more hours left with the current one.

eewww!!!
Just before going to lunch, the lady told me she had major diahrea (sp?) and she was vomitting and she was describing the color and more details of her sick day Friday.

And right when I came back from lunch she went to the bathroom and when she came back, she described that she just started her period and how she had a mess in her panties/pants. In details.

...

o_0!!

Can she be any more TMI??? Disgusting TMI, at that??

UGH!!!!

Too bad there isn't a mood for words like DISGUSTED or anything. :/

I'm all about work lately...
I got a bad feeling about today.

The feeling that the lady won't come in today.

If that happens, I'm screwed.

Edit: So, she came in 10 minutes before her shift. I really thought she wouldn't...

the person I "train"...
She had called earlier this morning to talk to my boss and when I let it slip she was in an interview she sounded confused (for a good reason!). She had told me to tell my boss she'd be late 30 minutes but she'd tried to make it...

Well, it's 3 and a half hours after her shift started and she hasn't come in at all and she hasn't called. She's supposed to call though.

My boss isn't counting on it.

There's a weird vibe right now. I think I might not have helped this but it also feels like this was planned all along in that person's head.

Oh well. We're supposed to have news from the woman who was interviewed this morning on Wednesday and then we'll "deal" with the current lady... If she comes back at all, that is. I'll know on Tuesday. Monday is a day off.

Just a weird vibe right now...

Uh oh!
The person I train called and I let it slip, by mistake, that my boss was in an interview instead of a reunion.

Oops!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

so... work, what else?
The woman I've been training for a month?

We're not keeping her.

She says she loves her job and so on but she's learning slow and she leaves the office every night something like 20 minutes before hand. And that's after disappearing from the front desk for 15 minutes and what not. She doesn't transfer her lines when she goes elsewhere in the office either. And there are other things I don't have time to mention.

I learned about that yesterday during her break. I have no idea if my boss already told her or if she's gonna tell her today. My boss is currently interviewing another woman today and if it goes well, she's gonna start Tuesday next week. And I'm gonna do a double shift on Tuesday, too. We're gonna train her something fierce.

A whole month kinda waisted, if you want my opinion...

please kill me now
Yesterday and today, there are construction workers on the roof, redoing it. The office smells very terrible but it's open. We can hardly breathe in different places and we have headaches starting. Very early in the day, too. I mean, it's only 9h37am right now. I don't have a headache now but I know it's gonna build up during the morning and the afternoon.

To make it worse, today, there are construction workers inside the mall (the old, no-longer-there Walmart store, and they are demolishing things inside but that's making tons of noise and since it's very echo there, the noise is even louder. My office is almost right now to them and I have to answer phones. I've excused myself a few times to all the callers because of the noise (I couldn't hear them properly).

There's nothing we can do about it. We are open and we're gonna stay open. No matter the noise and the smell and anything those combined will do to you...

It's a wonder the dogs haven't started barking yet. That's coming though; the pet store hasn't opened yet. 15 more minutes to go.

Happy, happy, joy, joy!!
